- Moving around locations..
The heading “news from the glade of squirrels", aka "weekly game developer" --------------------------------------------------— Hi everybody. There is not much to share this week from the development point of view, so I will write about what has already been implemented before. So, moving around the locations in the game will be carried out using the metro station system.. Yes, yes, squirrels will ride the subway..🐿 I think this should not bother anyone, given that they can shoot ultrasound and fight with mounts.. To take a train and go to the other end of the city is a trivial matter for them at all.. Locations (new stations) will be opened gradually as the game progresses.. In fact, the gif below shows how the city is gradually overgrown with new metro lines.. Initially, not all will be available.. It is also planned to add a mini-location “metro station”, in which, according to the plot, there will be an epic shootout between squirrels.. That's the way things are.. By the way, not all stations on gif will be available by the end of the game, in a couple of posts below I have already written the percentage of readiness of locations at the moment, so if you are interested, look below in the feed, and I have also finished the plot.. but we'll talk about it another time..

(....) As soon as the location is ready and filled with its "inhabitants", I will post a detailed description of each of them, with dialogues taken out of the context of the plot. We'll talk about the plot a little later, when it will be almost completely written, and will represent a more or less unified work. At the moment, I have come up with only the basic concept of the game and have written part of the dialogues (30 percent).. and believe me, you haven't seen this yet!) I wanted to start populating the locations with “fluffy animals fighting with bits”, but unfortunately there were some problems with the logic of the behavior of squirrels, and the balance in the game.. Proteins with firearms are too unbalanced in relation to proteins with knives and mounts.. But some squirrels still got a new home in a new location.. I will tell you more about it soon, perhaps even in a new format that is unusual for me (but this is not accurate).. That's the way things are...
